Financial Aid FAQs

Can I get a Need-Based Scholarship as an international student?

When you applied to BYU-Idaho as an international student, you indicated that you had the resources needed to cover your university expenses. Based on this information, you reported no financial need and are not eligible for the Need-Based scholarship. However, you are still eligible to qualify for all other BYU-Idaho scholarships.

We also encourage you to explore private scholarship opportunities. If you find that your financial needs are not being met, please visit with International Services or contact your sponsor for additional support.
