The Idaho LAUNCH Grant helps you invest in your future and the future of the Idaho economy by providing funding for in-demand degrees.

• $8000 total award with $4000 available in the first academic year.
• For incoming freshmen who graduated from an Idaho high school.
• Pays 80% of tuition costs.

Idaho LAUNCH Grant

The Idaho Opportunity Scholarship is a scholarship provided by the State of Idaho that any Idaho high school graduate can apply for.

• Up to $3,500 per year, with a maximum of $14,000 over four years for students who meet the annual eligibility requirements.
• Renewable for up to 4 years.
• Must maintain 2.7 GPA and be on track to graduate.

• Must be a resident of Idaho.
• Many scholarships have a minimum cumulative GPA (for example, 2.8 for the Idaho Associated General Contractors Education Foundation).
• Many scholarships also require completing the FAFSA.

Next Steps Idaho Scholarship Listing

The Idaho Governor's Cup Scholarship provides scholarships in recognition of the value of public service and to encourage outstanding Idaho high school students to continue their education at an eligible Idaho college or university.

• Must be a resident of Idaho.
• Must be a graduating senior of an Idaho high school or homeschool.
• Have a cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above.
  

Idaho Governor's Cup

The GEAR UP Idaho Scholarship is awarded to Idaho residents who graduated from an eligible Idaho high school and participated in a GEAR UP Idaho program between 2019–2025.

• Must be a resident of Idaho.
• Must have participated in a GEAR UP Idaho program during the grant years from Fall 2019–Spring 2025 at an eligible district.
• Must have a high school diploma or its equivalent.
