Financial Aid FAQs

If my spouse is a student do they have to update their FAFSA® or if I do it will it change theirs too?

If both of you are students, you will each need to complete the FAFSA® or update your FAFSA® with your new marital status. You must both give permission for the other to use tax information; however, giving permission does not mean you have completed the FAFSA® process. Each of you must complete all the steps outlined in Updating FAFSA® Marital Status.
