Financial Aid FAQs

What is eRefund, and how do I set it up?

If there is any remaining money from financial aid and other scholarships, grants, or loans (after it has paid for your tuition, fees, and on-campus charges), it will be deposited directly into your personal bank account through a process called eRefund.

Follow these steps to set up eRefund:

  1. Sign in to myBYUI
  2. Scroll down to “Balances” and click “Make Payment”
  3. Once on Cashnet, click on “My Account” on the left-hand side
  4. Select “Direct Deposit Refunds” and enter the account information

For any other questions regarding eRefund and refunds in general, view the Financial Services website.
