Financial Aid FAQs

You may be on an SAP Suspension

To receive federal financial aid, students must meet Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) standards each semester. These standards include:

  • A 67% cumulative completion rate
  • A 2.0 cumulative GPA
  • Completing your program within 150% of the required credits

SAP is cumulative and based on Program Applicable credits. Students can check their SAP status in their Financial Aid Portal.

If you are placed on SAP Suspension, and you have not already appealed 2 times, you may submit a SAP Appeal to request reinstatement of your financial aid if you experienced significant, unexpected circumstances.
