How do I keep my scholarship if I am leaving on a mission?

BYU-Idaho scholarships can be deferred by completing the proper missionary deferment form.

If you are receiving an Idaho LAUNCH Grant, be sure to submit a request for an extension in your Idaho LAUNCH portal.

If you are receiving an Idaho Opportunity Scholarship, submit a leave of absence request in writing to jmiller@edu.idaho.gov.

Private Scholarships:  BYU-Idaho cannot hold private scholarship funds while you are on your mission. Any funds sent here will be returned to the scholarship provider. Reach out directly to them to make arrangements.
