What If I Have Already Appealed Two Times?
Requests to submit more than two SAP appeals are considered on a case-by-case basis.
In reviewing a request for an additional appeal, the Financial Aid Office will consider:
- The nature of the circumstances
- The student’s academic performance since the most recent appeal
- The likelihood that the student will be able to meet SAP standards moving forward
- Evidence that prior circumstances have been resolved or effectively managed, which could include an extended time away from school that allowed the student to address the issues that previously affected academic progress.
Students may be required to provide updated documentation, demonstrate academic readiness, or submit an academic plan as part of this review.
Students requesting consideration for an additional appeal are encouraged to meet with a Financial Aid counselor to discuss their circumstances and determine whether a review is appropriate.
Approval of the additional appeal is not guaranteed.
