Financial Aid FAQs

Additional verification documents may be required

Some students are selected for verification, which means additional documents are required before financial aid can be processed.

  • Check your Financial Aid Portal frequently for required or incomplete documents.
  • Watch your BYU-Idaho email for missing document notifications.
  • Carefully follow all document instructions.
  • Submit documents by the priority deadlines to avoid delays.

If documents are submitted after the priority deadline, federal aid may not be available by the tuition payment deadline and a late fee may apply. Eligible students will still receive federal aid later in the semester once documents are complete.
