Financial Aid FAQs

You may not be enrolled in enough credits

BYU-Idaho scholarships require students to be enrolled in at least 6 credits each semester to receive an award. For questions, contact scholarships@bui.edu.

For Idaho Scholarships:
If you are enrolled in 12 or more Program Applicable credits, the grant is typically applied within the first 3–5 days of the semester.

If you are enrolled in fewer than 12 credits, the grant will be applied after the add/drop deadline, allowing time to adjust your enrollment.

For additional help, contact idahostateaid@byui.edu.
