Financial Aid FAQs

Why hasn't the Pell Grant been applied to my account yet?

If you have met all qualifications, including verification and Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) requirements, your Pell Grant begins processing on the first day of the semester.

Since multiple offices are involved, it may take some time for your Pell Grant to be applied to the charges in your student account, such as tuition. Processing typically takes 3 to 5 days.

If your Pell Grant has not been applied by the fifth day of the semester, reach out to the Financial Aid office by calling (208) 496-1411, emailing financialaid@byui.edu, or visiting them in person in Kimball 196.
