Financial Aid FAQs

When will my Idaho Opportunity Scholarship be applied to my tuition?

If you have accepted your Idaho Opportunity Scholarship and are taking 12 or more credits, your scholarship should be disbursed within the first 3 to 5 days of the semester.

If you are enrolled in fewer credits, it may take a little longer for your scholarship to disburse.

In either case, be sure to pay the difference between your scholarship award and your tuition to avoid late fees.

If your scholarship has not been disbursed after the first week of the semester, please email
idahostateaid@byui.edu.
