What is the FAFSA® Federal Deadline?

The FAFSA® Federal Deadline is the last day you can submit the FAFSA® for that award year. The deadline is based on your last day of attendance for the academic year. So if the Winter semester is your last semester of the 2025-2026 academic year, the last day you can complete the FAFSA® is the last day of the Semester - April 22nd. See our dates and deadlines page for specific semester dates.

For exact dates, see the Dates and Deadlines page for each semester.
