What would my monthly payments look like under different federal repayment plans?


The sample loan repayment schedules below were created using the loan simulator based on the following criteria:

  • $27,000 total federal unsubsidized student loans borrowed
    • 6.39% interest rate
    • Graduating with a job - $55,000 starting Adjusted Gross Income (AGI)
    • Married filing jointly, no dependents
    • No public service loan forgiveness eligibility
    • Living in Idaho
    • Goal: to pay the lowest total amount over time
