Financial Aid FAQs

Your outside scholarship check may still be processing

If you are receiving an outside scholarship, the funds cannot be applied until BYU-Idaho receives and processes the check.

Checks must be made payable to BYU-Idaho and mailed to:

BYU-Idaho Cashier’s Office
Kimball 130
Outside Scholarships
210 West 400 South
Rexburg, ID 83460-1625

The check should include your name, I-Number, and a letter specifying the term(s) the scholarship is for and any eligibility requirements. Once received, processing to your Financial Aid Portal takes 10–14 days.
