Financial Aid FAQs

Will I Still Be Eligible for Loans Using the 2026–2027 FAFSA® if I Take Fewer Classes?

You must be enrolled in at least 6 Program Applicable credits to be eligible for federal student loans.

Loans are offered in two-semester loan periods. If you take 6-11 credits in either semester, your overall loan offer could be reduced.
