BYU-Idaho offers a one-time $1,000 Returned Missionary Scholarship to encourage recently returned missionaries to pursue higher education at BYU-Idaho. See if you qualify!

  • Served a mission for any length of time.
  • Returned within the last year.
  • Your mission service information must be in your student record to receive the Returned Missionary Scholarship.

The scholarship is automatically awarded upon enrollment in your first semester after missionary service. You must be enrolled in at least 6 credits. Once awarded the scholarship will automatically show in your financial aid portal.

Make sure your Mission information is included in your student record so we can award your scholarships.
