What is Proof of Identity?
The government selects some students for verification to confirm that they are the person who filed the FAFSA. BYU-Idaho must complete this verification before your financial aid can be disbursed.
A copy of a valid, unexpired, government-issued photo ID (e.g., Driver's License, State ID Card, U.S. Passport).
- On-campus students: Present your ID in person at the Financial Aid Office in Kimball 196.
- Non-campus students: Present your ID over a Zoom call with a financial aid counselor.
