How many credits do I have to take to get a scholarship?


To receive the full scholarship amount, you must be enrolled in at least 12 credits per semester. You may receive a partial scholarship if you enroll in at least 6 credits.

This applies to all BYU Idaho scholarships, not just need-based awards.

The following table shows scholarship award amounts based on the number of credits you enroll in:

3.95–4.0 Full Tuition
3.9–3.949 Half Tuition
3.75–3.899 Quarter Tuition
