Financial Aid FAQs

How do I submit my Certificate of Eligibility (COE) for VA Benefits to the Financial Aid Office?

The first page of the Certificate of Eligibility must be submitted to the Financial Aid Office before your classes can be reported to the VA for payment. Keep your information secure. Please follow these steps:

  1. Email vabenefits@byui.edu and let them know you have your Certificate of Eligibility (COE).
  2. A “VA Benefits document” will be added to your Financial Aid Portal.
  3. Hit "Review and Update" on the document and upload your COE using the upload button.
