Idaho Scholarships
BYU-Idaho proudly partners with Next Steps Idaho to accept state-funded scholarships. Idaho high school graduates, Idaho homeschoolers, and Idaho GED/HSE recipients are encouraged to apply for these valuable scholarships to support their BYU-Idaho education.
New for 2025-2026:
If you are student, you can apply for the Idaho LAUNCH Grant or the Idaho Opportunity Scholarship. The Scholarship Idaho application will also help you choose the best scholarship for your needs!

Idaho Governor’s Cup Scholarship is for graduating seniors of Idaho high school or homeschool students. This scholarship is a merit-based award that rewards a commitment to community service. An essay about your goals and interests and letters of recommendation are required.
Idaho Gear Up Grant is available for those that have participated in an Idaho GEAR UP PROGRAM between Fall 2011 and Spring 2018 at specific Idaho School Districts.
