Award Information

Veterans’ Education Benefits (VEB) are benefits provided by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to students who qualify. While the student may meet specific criteria, only the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) can determine who qualifies for benefits and how much they receive. There are several chapters of Veterans’ Education Benefits:

  • Chapter 31: Veteran Readiness and Employment (VR&E)
  • Chapter 33: Post 9/11 GI Bill®
  • Chapter 35: Survivors’ and Dependents’ Education Assistance (DEA)
  • Chapter 1606: Montgomery G.I. Bill® – Selected Reserve
  • Chapter 30: Montgomery G.I. Bill® – Active Duty

Visit the GI Bill website for more information about each VA Chapter.
