Reach Audiences Across Campus
Campus digital displays provide highly visible opportunities to reach students and other campus audiences. The Digital Signage Network (DSN) is available for a broad range of approved campus communications, while digital kiosks and the stadium billboard are reserved channels coordinated through University Communications.
Choose the Right Digital Channel
Share approved messages on digital screens located throughout campus. DSN is available for a broad range of university communications and can be submitted through Design Conductor.
Digital kiosks provide prominent placement in select high-traffic campus locations. This is a reserved channel coordinated through University Communications for prioritized communication needs.
The digital stadium billboard is a reserved channel used for select university communications and campaigns. Contact your Strategic Communications Coordinator to discuss whether this channel is appropriate for your project.
DSN Guidelines
Design for the Screen
Create DSN graphics at 1920 × 1080 pixels. Keep important text, images, and other content away from the edges of the design so screen cropping does not affect the message.
Keep the Message Simple
Design for quick viewing. Focus on one primary message and make essential information easy to understand at a glance.
Design Without Audio
DSN video does not include audio. Make sure viewers can understand the complete message without sound.
Follow BYU-Idaho Brand Standards
Use approved colors, typefaces, photography, illustrations, video, and other brand elements. If you include a BYU-Idaho logo, follow the university’s logo guidelines.
Use Approved Creative Assets
Use images, video, illustrations, and other creative assets that BYU-Idaho owns or has permission to use. Follow applicable university copyright requirements.
Represent BYU-Idaho Appropriately
People, imagery, language, and subject matter should appropriately reflect university and Church standards.
