I want to change my major—will this affect my federal aid?

Yes, you can change your major; however, all major changes must be completed before the major change deadline for the semester. To ensure your change is processed in time, please complete it at least 10 days before the semester begins.

If you change your major after the deadline, your old major will remain in effect for that semester, and your classes may not count as Program Applicable. This means you may not receive financial aid for those classes.
