Can I still fill out the FAFSA® form after I get married if it is after the priority deadline?

Yes! If you have not previously completed a FAFSA®, you can complete it now as long as it is submitted before the FAFSA® Federal Deadline. As a married student, you will include your information and your spouse’s information, but not your parents’.

Students must be enrolled in classes to receive FAFSA funds. So if you complete the FAFSA after you are married, you will need to be currently enrolled to be eligible to receive any payments from the current semester or any previous semesters that you become eligible for.
