Returned Missionary Scholarship
BYU-Idaho offers a one-time $1,000 Returned Missionary Scholarship to encourage recently returned missionaries to pursue higher education at BYU-Idaho.
  • Awarded Automatically - No Application Required.
  • One-time award during the first semester within a year of returning from your mission.
  • Must enroll in 6+ credits.

Talent Scholarship
Your talents deserve to be recognized! Talent Scholarships are scholarships awarded based on your talent in specific fields. Each department has its own criteria and application process.
  • Application to specific departments required.
  • Reapply Each Year.
  • Available for Art, Dance, Theater, Music, and Journalism.

Award Level Credit Requirements

BYU-Idaho scholarships are awarded by credit groups, not by individual credits. Each credit group has a fixed dollar amount. If you take more credits within a group, tuition increases, but the scholarship amount stays the same.
