Academic Support For All Students
The library was named for the ninth President of the Church, who was also a prominent educator. The addition of a second building, known as the West Wing, was completed in 1976. In 2010 a skybridge was built, connecting the third floor of the library to the Manwaring Center.

Focus On Learning & Academic Success
The David O. McKay Library offers quiet areas for students to study and learn. The library seeks to help each student find academic success at BYU-Idaho.

The Tutoring Center
The Tutoring Center, located on the second floor, is an incredible resource that offers free assistance to students in areas like reading, writing, and math.
"I love the McKay Library for all the tutoring services available there. I've needed help in multiple classes and on multiple assignments. Every time I've gone to the Tutoring Center, I've gotten the help that I need."
