About the Training Ambassador Program
Welcome to the BYU-Idaho Training Ambassador Program! Your voluntary role is designed to be light yet impactful, helping foster growth and learning at BYU-Idaho without requiring a heavy time commitment.
The Training and Development Team will support you with regular updates on upcoming events and programs.

Roles and Responsibilities
1) Facilitate Learning as a Department Liaison
- Act as a leader in promoting a training culture.
- Encourage participation and help organize department-specific training sessions.
- Gather and provide feedback on specific training needs within your department.
- Distribute training content provided by the Training and Development Team and encourage participation.
2) Promote Continuous Learning
- Encourage team members to engage in professional, personal, and spiritual development opportunities.
- Lead by example in your own development journey.
3) Support University-Wide Initiatives
- Assist in aligning department efforts with broader university goals.
- Monitor participation in training and development activities, providing feedback as needed.
Expectations and Time Commitment
- Monthly Informal Check-ins: Quick visits from the Training team to stay connected and updated.
- Semesterly Meeting: A 30-45 minute meeting at the start of each semester to discuss plans and events.
