David O. McKay Library

The library was named for the ninth President of the Church, who was also a prominent educator. The addition of a second building, known as the West Wing, was completed in 1976. In 2010 a skybridge was built, connecting the third floor of the library to the Manwaring Center. Click here to view the David O. McKay Library's site.

Interesting Facts

  • Originally an Administration Building, it was remodeled around 1970 and 5 times after that.
  • There is a Family History Center located on the 2nd Floor of the David O. McKay Library.
  • The 2nd floor of the library features a replica of the Grandin Press, the press used to print the first copies of the Book of Mormon.
