Experimental Rocket Motor Safety
The competition rocket program is a well-organized, safe, and legal activity under the laws and regulations of the federal government. There are, however, significant limitations and conditions on the activity which every member of the rocket team must understand and follow. Strict compliance with the law and cooperation with the university safety office has been a hallmark of the team towards a safe and successful launch.

Return to Work Policy
The Return to Work program is in conjunction with the Workers' Comp program. When an employee is injured, before that employee can return to work, a medical practitioner is required to complete a form stating what the employee can do during the healing process time. Efforts are given to provide the employee work that is within the guidelines provided by the medical practitioner, including, but not limited to, light duty or job transfer, if available.
Every effort is made to ensure that the employee does not come back too soon, and jeopardize the healing and health.
