BYU-Idaho Career Expeditions
Expeditions are trips organized by university departments intended to:
- explore jobs and internships in various cities across the country,
- provide an opportunity to network with potential employers,
- meet contacts with companies in that city, and
- find and meet local church members.
Because the expeditions use a considerable amount of university funding, it is expected that at least 30% of attending students will receive a job or internship offer.
Students are expected to:
- pay 40% of the total cost;
- this usually falls between $200-$500
- the amount will be charged to your student account upon acceptance
- pay for all other incidentals, including meals and entertainment; and
- in the event of withdrawal after plane tickets are purchased, pay the full price of the ticket.
