Become a Tutor for the Writing Center
Be a part of another student’s success by becoming a writing tutor. Hiring occurs three times a year at the end of each semester. Only on-campus students can be hired at this time.
Writing Tutor Requirements
- Receive an “A-minus” or better in ENG 150 and ENG 301.
- Must have a GPA of 3.2 or higher.
- Commit to work at least 10 hours each week.
- Score 90% or better on the grammar proficiency exam (a link is included in the application).
