Greg Wrubell is perhaps best known as the voice of BYU sports. Wrubell is the play-by-play broadcaster for BYU men’s basketball, football, women’s soccer and baseball. Along with his broadcasting duties, he currently serves as the director of Broadcast Media at BYU. Prior to his being hired at BYU in July 2016, Wrubell worked for KSL Newsradio from October 1989 to July 2016.

Rexburg students and locals are invited to country dance for a cause this Friday at a fundraiser to benefit Mexican youth.

Chris Lowry is a BYU-Idaho faculty member in the Psychology Department. He gave the BYU-Idaho devotional address on November 14, 2023. His talk is entitled, “The Best Gifts.” Prior to the devotional, Lowry spoke with BYU-Idaho about his devotional address.

The BYU football team was handed its fifth loss of the season on Saturday night, and its third in a row. The Cougars are now 5-5 on the season and 2-5 in conference play. BYU now has only two chances left to qualify for a bowl game — both are ranked opponents.

This year marks the 57th edition of the Festival of Trees in Idaho Falls. The festival gives residents the chance to buy a Christmas tree while supporting DWI, formerly the Development Workshop. Community members, veterans and Madison High School students honored veterans Friday in the annual Rexburg Area Chamber of Commerce Veterans Day ceremony.

The city of Rexburg is holding its annual Veterans Day celebration on Friday, November 10. The event is being hosted by the Rexburg Chamber of Commerce inside the Madison High School gymnasium. The event includes music and inspiring words and begins at 10 a.m. Janalyn Holt, the CEO of the Rexburg Chamber of Commerce, sat down with BYU-Idaho Radio to discuss the festivities.
