Sign-ups for individual audition times are posted outside each string faculty member's office a few days before school begins. Students are encouraged to register for Symphony Orchestra ahead of time. This will grant them access to the audition materials, which typically consist of excerpts from the Symphony repertoire for that semester. Materials are sent to registered students approximately one month before auditions. Contact Robert Tueller for more information about Symphony Orchestra. Acceptance into the String Chamber-Sinfonietta class is handled through the Symphony Orchestra audition process. In other words, one audition covers both Symphony and String Chamber. Contact Dallin Hansen for more information about String Chamber-Sinfonietta.
Auditions for Baroque Ensemble are arranged through Dr. Tueller and are typically held within the first 2-3 days of class each semester.
