The digital and social media emphasis prepares students to work as a social media specialist, coordinator, strategist, or manager. The emphasis teaches students to curate and create content for intended audiences using multiple mediums and digital and social media strategies. In addition, students will learn how to make data-driven decisions and measure their effectiveness. The emphasis relies on experience-based learning—providing students with meaningful opportunities to work on personal brands and with established organizations.
