Brian Felt attended Ricks College before graduating from Southern Utah University with a bachelor's degree in communication. He continued is graduate studies at Brigham Young University, earning a master's degree in communication, followed by a doctorate degree in education from the University of Idaho.
Dr. Howard's professional career has included work as a reporter and anchor for KPVI News 6 in Pocatello, Idaho, and a producer and director for KBYU-TV 11 in Provo, Utah. He joined BYU-Idaho in 1999 as a professor in the Communication Department, and in 2004 served as a student TV news adviser in the Department of Communications. He also fulfilled duties as executive producer and host for the the BYU-TV interview program Latter-day Profiles, which he continues today. He is also an associate dean of faculty development at BYU-idaho.
