Digital/Social Media & Visual Communication at BYU-Idaho is a highly hands-on and project based program. Students move beyond the classroom and actively create digital content, visual designs, and social media campaigns that mirror real-world professional work. Students have opportunities to build their personal portfolios in preparation for their future careers.
Students will learn:
- Strong communication skills, including writing, presenting, and decision-making
- Visual design principles and content such as color, composition, photos/videos, and graphics
- Creating digital and social media content for multiple different platforms
- How to build and manage brand strategies using research and analytics for specific audiences

Create and manage digital content across online platforms for communication goals.
Create, edit, and manage videos for news, entertainment, and commercial purposes.
