Ready, Set, Create. Communicate Beyond the Spoken and Written Word
This program focuses on creating legal and ethical content. We teach how to enhance communication skills by developing broad visual skills, including advertising, motion graphics, design, photography, presentation, web design, and more. This broad visual approach prepares students to work across many mediums and apply universal visual principles to new and emerging mediums.

Students enjoy learning to create visuals that communicate with an intended audience through hands-on learning in and outside the classroom. Creating and collaborating in personal and group projects are encouraged and celebrated across the emphasis.
"My emphasis was in visual communication, and my module was video. I have had multiple roles, but I’ve been at the same place of employment since graduating. I’ve used many of my visual communication skills! I’ve mostly worked on optimizing and publishing content for the web. I work for the Media Library at the headquarters of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. My biggest success has stemmed from being able to display a wide variety of skills. A little bit of knowledge and experience can go a long way."
