Christmas in the I-Center

The annual Christmas program brings the Spirit of Christmas in an elaborate collaboration of music, dance, and theatre. The BYU-Idaho Christmas Concert is held every December in the I-Center.

Participation in a program of this magnitude offers our dancers real world experience that cannot be achieved in many other settings.

Become one of the 300 students from the College of Visual and Performing Arts that participates in this grand, exciting event!

Who Can Participate?

Gentri comes to BYU-Idaho to perform a Christmas special with student performers from BYU-Idaho’s College of Performing and Visual Arts.

Any dance student can audition for this experience. Participants must commit to attending every rehearsal. The rehearsal schedule may vary depending on the piece you're selected for. Students have the option to participate in this Christmas performance as a 1 credit class.

Christmas Concert Rehearsal schedule:

  • Monday 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm
  • Wednesday 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm
  • Friday 1:00 - 3:00 pm

Attendance every night during the Tech and Show Week is also required.

Auditions

BYU-I choirs, orchestra, and dancers, along with Brian Stokes Mitchell, perform the 8th annual Christmas Concert, filling the room with the Christmas spirit.
