Your one stop shop for outdoor rentals.
---Please Note- You can only make reservations 30 days before your first reservation date. The system will let you reserve longer than this, but the shop manager will cancel them. If your reservation is canceled, you will be informed by the shop manager.
The ORC doesn't just rent equipment, we also sell some of your favorite outdoor gear. We want to help you get your hands on the brands you love. We have sales and promotions from time to time for both new and used gear, so call or visit the ORC often for prices and to see our featured brands.
At the ORC, we want to make sure that you can have fun, be safe, and have the best rental experience possible. Here are a few quick policies, guidelines, and a copy of our rental agreement.
About the Outdoor Resource Center
Welcome to the ORC
The Outdoor Resource Center (ORC) is an auxiliary organization located on the campus of BYU-Idaho that serves the needs of students, employees, and community members.
We are committed to the vision of giving people affordable access to outdoor activities through rentals and sales. The ORC has equipment for all kinds of outdoor adventures: from camping to kayaking, rock climbing to cross country skiing, and can also provide maintenance on skis, snowboards, bikes, and other items.
