Brigham Young University-Idaho has launched BYUI 101: Experience BYU-Idaho, a new course designed to help incoming students transition smoothly into university life by connecting them with essential resources and fostering a sense of belonging.

Brigham Young University-Idaho has released its official Spring 2024 enrollment numbers for both campus and online.

BYU-Idaho Radio celebrates 40 years on the airwaves this month. On May 1, 1984, Ricks College launched a new full-power radio station called KRIC. With 75,000 watts of power, the new station broadcast classical music and news programming on 100.5 FM to eastern Idaho, western Wyoming and southern Montana. Forty years later, KBYI 94.3 FM continues that legacy and invites the public to celebrate its 40th anniversary.

Jake Scott, multi-Platinum-certified singer, songwriter, and producer, will perform at BYU-Idaho on Friday, May 17, at 7:30 p.m. in the Hart Auditorium.

Every Tuesday at 11:30 a.m., students, faculty, staff, and the greater BYU-Idaho community attend the weekly devotional address at the BYU-Idaho Center. Speakers are selected from university employees, leaders of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and friends of BYU-Idaho. In addition, each semester one college hosts a guest speaker for a campus forum hour.

Browning, Second Counselor in the Primary General Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, will address 2,815 graduates at Brigham Young University-Idaho’s 2024 Winter Semester Commencement on Thursday, April 11, 2024. The event will be held at 12:45 p.m. in the BYU-Idaho Center and streamed live at byui.edu/live/video.

BYU-Idaho Center Stage is pleased to announce its Spring 2024 season performance lineup. The upcoming season features an Emmy and Tony Award-winning star, a popular Indie-Pop artist, and a recent American Idol winner.

A new podcast from BYU-Idaho Radio highlights stories of BYU-Idaho students, employees, and alumni about their journeys to becoming disciples of Jesus Christ and BYU-Idaho's impact along the way. It’s called “BYU-Idaho Disciple Journeys.”

In an effort to make the BYU-Idaho application process easier, the university has removed its application fee. By eliminating this cost barrier, the university hopes more students will take the opportunity to apply to a university where they will develop as disciples of Jesus Christ, while gaining a high-quality college education that is student centered by design. This new benefit is now available to all future BYU-Idaho applicants that have not yet enrolled in BYU-Idaho classes.

REXBURG — Brigham Young University-Idaho is pleased to announce the appointment of Nick Rammell as its new Dean of Students. He replaces Wynn Hill who served as the Dean of Students since 2019 before transitioning to a new role in the Counseling Center this year.

Online education has become an indispensable mode of learning, catering to the diverse needs of students across the globe. In order to provide a more accessible and streamlined route to a bachelor's degree for its online students, Brigham Young University-Idaho and Ensign College, in partnership with BYU-Pathway Worldwide, have introduced a new option: a bachelor's degree that can be completed in three years, or in 90–96 credits.
