BYU-Idaho Celebrates Largest Incoming Class for Second Year in a Row

Brigham Young University-Idaho has released its official Fall 2025 enrollment numbers and celebrates the largest incoming class in its history.

Statistics for Fall 2025 show a total of 24,450 matriculated campus-based students, including 20,677 enrolled in face-to-face courses and 3,773 enrolled in online courses and/or internships.

The university estimates that approximately 22,000 students are living in Rexburg this semester.

Matriculated-student enrollment at BYU-Idaho continues to grow across all semesters, with 5.5% in Winter 2025, 2.0% in Spring 2025 and now a 6.7% increase this fall semester, compared to Fall 2024.

The campus-based student body is nearly evenly split between 12,191 male students (50%) and 12,259 female students (50%), with 4,918 of those students being married (20%).

In addition, BYU-Idaho serves 22,083 online students through its partnership with BYU-Pathway Worldwide, bringing the total enrolled students to 46,533.
