Shaun Johnson’s Big Kid Tour Hits BYU-Idaho

BYU-Idaho Center Stage is excited to announce that comedian and social media sensation Shaun Johnson will perform live on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at 7:30 p.m. in the Hart Gymnasium as part of his nationwide Big Kid Tour. Known for his viral comedy channel “The Johnson Files” and his high-energy improv shows, Johnson is set to deliver an unforgettable night of comedy for students and the Rexburg community.

Shaun Johnson is the creative force behind “The Johnson Files,” the viral comedy platform he created with his wife, Nicole. Together, they have entertained millions with their relatable humor, family-centered sketches, and sharp comedic timing through hundreds of online videos. Their content has built a loyal global audience who connect with their lighthearted take on everyday life.

In addition to his online success, Johnson travels nationwide performing improv and stand-up comedy to sold-out crowds. With more than 100 live shows and counting, his improv performances are among the largest ever produced, creating interactive experiences that keep audiences laughing from start to finish.

Beyond comedy, Johnson has collaborated with teams across a variety of industries, using the principles of improv to help organizations unlock creativity, communication, and potential.
