Steps for Receiving Accommodations

(Available for On-campus, Online and Pathway Students)

Step 1

Send in your documents: Email, fax, or bring in documentation from a licensed Physician or Psychologist that identifies your disability. You can find our contact information on the contact us page.

Step 2

Meet with the Disability Services Office: Schedule a time to meet with an administrator in the Disability Services Office. In this meeting, reasonable and appropriate accommodations will be discussed. A letter identifying you and your accommodations will then be given to you.

Step 3

Give Accommodation Letter to your Instructors: Take copies of your accommodation letter to your instructors. Discuss and share anything you feel will help you be successful in their class. Remember, you don't need to share what your disability is.

Step 4

Communicate: Be sure to communicate with your instructor. It is important that you return to our office to pick up your accommodation letters at the beginning of each semester, to reassess your needs. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us.
