The Rexburg Area Chamber of Commerce wants to get local people and students to get to know local restaurants, so it’s hosting a Restaurant Rush from Feb. 28 through March 9.

Tomorrow, the center will host a Black Family History Day where African Americans, Caribbean Americans and more can be a part of activities where oral histories and more are preserved.

When the temperatures drop in eastern Idaho, it’s common to see temporary ice rinks set up on ponds, in parking lots and even front lawns. They’re so temporary, though, because once the temperatures rise, the ice melts. However, there is a longer lasting rink in Sugar City that stays open above the freezing point.
