Student Financial Aid Compliance

BYU-Idaho follows all federal laws governing and student aid programs and distributing funds.

BYU-Idaho is subject to numerous laws due to its participation in federal student aid programs, also known as Title IV programs (because they are described and administered under Title IV of the Higher Education Act). Additionally, the law governs the administration and disbursement of financial aid at the university. Every six years, the university enters into a program participation agreement—signed by the president—that conditions the receipt of funds on compliance with a variety of federal laws.
