Campus Safety Compliance

BYU-Idaho is committed to the physical safety of all students, employees, and campus visitors.

Our Commitment to Campus Safety

To provide a safe campus environment, BYU-Idaho complies with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, also known as the Clery Act. The Clery Act requires the university to record and annually report certain campus crime statistics and security measures to all students and employees. Prospective students and employees must receive the report or a notice of its availability and a brief summary of its contents. BYU-Idaho complies with local and federal laws governing emergencies and fires. Procedures and programs are in place to prevent crime and protect minors and all campus visitors.
