Students have a stewardship for the sacred resources the Church allocates to provide their education. One way students can be wise stewards is to complete their degree in a timely manner, ensuring that resources are available to as many future students as possible. With this in mind, BYU–Idaho encourages students to successfully complete at least 30 credits toward their degree each calendar year they are enrolled. By completing at least 30 credits each year of enrollment students will graduate in four years for a Bachelor’s degree and two years for an Associate’s degree.

This “Credits earned this year” value represents the number of credits you have earned so far this year plus the number of credits for which you are currently registered in the current term (registered credits for terms that have not yet begun are not included). Here is the formula:
