The mission of the Institutional Research & Assessment office at BYU-Idaho is to support the university’s efforts to develop disciples of Jesus Christ who are leaders in their homes, the Church, and their communities, by conducting high-quality research and providing actionable information and reporting services to stakeholders.

- Consultation on survey research design, scale development, psychometric analysis, and other measurement issues.
- Consultation and support on collecting and reporting institutional data.

Office Activities
We collect critical institutional data in accordance with industry best practices and university policy.
We collaborate with Institutional Data & Analysis Services (IDAS) and other stakeholders to distribute data and report analysis.
We conduct institutional research projects and present actionable findings to stakeholders.
We provide consultation services to help decision-makers understand and utilize data.
We catalog the results of our research and share our findings as broadly as possible.
We coordinate external research projects, and strive to work as a system with other CES organizations.
