Reuben J. Appelman is an author with a focus on true crime. His latest book, “While Idaho Slept: The Hunt for Answers in the Murders of Four College Students,” dives into the murders of four University of Idaho students that took place in November of 2022. Michelle Dennis Christensen is an author and speaker. Her new memoir is called “Mirrors of Jesus: Finding Parallels of Christ in our Lives.” In an interview with BYU-Idaho Radio, Christensen shared what drove her to write this book and the meaning behind the title of her book.
Greg Wrubell is perhaps best known as the voice of BYU sports. Wrubell is the play-by-play broadcaster for BYU men’s basketball, football, women’s soccer and baseball. Along with his broadcasting duties, he currently serves as the director of Broadcast Media at BYU. Prior to his being hired at BYU in July 2016, Wrubell worked for KSL Newsradio from October 1989 to July 2016.
This year marks the 57th edition of the Festival of Trees in Idaho Falls. The festival gives residents the chance to buy a Christmas tree while supporting DWI, formerly the Development Workshop. Community members, veterans and Madison High School students honored veterans Friday in the annual Rexburg Area Chamber of Commerce Veterans Day ceremony.
The city of Rexburg is holding its annual Veterans Day celebration on Friday, November 10. The event is being hosted by the Rexburg Chamber of Commerce inside the Madison High School gymnasium. The event includes music and inspiring words and begins at 10 a.m. Janalyn Holt, the CEO of the Rexburg Chamber of Commerce, sat down with BYU-Idaho Radio to discuss the festivities.
