REXBURG — When it comes to shopping in Rexburg people are often looking for a wider store selection, and to save driving time to bigger cities in the surrounding area—Real Deals has been the solution for many who are looking for more right in their backyard.
“There’s just so much more—there’s furniture, there’s decorations, there’s candles – the clothes themselves are just very unique,” Lori Thompson, a regular customer says.
Rexburg local, Lori Thompson, is a regular customer and enjoys the offerings Real Deals brings to the community.
“This is a great store… I’m just always on the hunt for different things. I love color, I love dresses, I’m always looking for things that I can wear at work. I have to have things that are comfy, yet still professional, so this is a great option,” Thompson says.
Owner Stacey Hansen started out at the store 16 years ago, and became a buyer for four eastern Idaho locations. In August of 2020 she and her husband purchased the store in Rexburg, and one thing hasn’t changed, she’s still the buyer for her location. Hansen says there are cute finds for girls and women of every age in any stage of life.
“You’ll find lots of fun stuff in our store for women’s clothing. The name of our store is Real Deals, so we try to be a good deal... Most of our stuff is quite a bit cheaper-- our dresses especially we have really awesome dresses, and modest so you never have to worry about being able to find modest clothing because we have plenty of that. We also sell home décor we sell seasonal home décor, and everyday home décor,” Hansen says.
Hansen says the store is unique in its collection, and its operation as well.
“It’s a true boutique we like to find unique pieces, we never go in very heavy quantities of anything. I would say in true boutique-fashion if you see it here and you love it don’t wait because probably, if you’re coming back to get it, it probably won’t be here,” Hansen says.
The items in stock in the store, also match their online selection. Hansen says even if you move away you can still take Real Deals with you.
"We also have online so if you don’t live in Rexburg, or if you don’t want to drive into the store, if you live in one of these outlying cities you can always purchase it online. It’s the same stock, and we can ship it directly to your house,” Hansen says.
Thompson agrees that this feature is a selling point for the store.
“The nice thing too is I can order online and come in and just pick it up too,” Thompson says.
Hansen says you won’t find a place like Real Deals anywhere else with its unique, and updated styles.
“I just want to add that we love our customers, we love the people that we get to talk to on a regular basis,” Hanses says. “We love to find out what your style is, tell us what you’re looking for… we feel like our customers are our friend.”
