Students, faculty and members of the community gathered on Tuesday for the inauguration of Alvin F. Meredith III, the 18th president of BYU-Idaho.

Joelle Willmore is the artistic director for the Idaho Falls Opera. She says the opera’s upcoming show, “The Bridge Between Opera and Broadway” illustrates just how intertwined the two genres are. The show opens on Oct. 13 and goes through the weekend.

Janalyn Holt is the CEO of the Rexburg Chamber of Commerce. As the holiday season approaches, she says there is so much for individuals and families alike to come and enjoy in the Rexburg Community.

BYU-Idaho held the inauguration ceremony for President Alvin F. Meredith III, the 18th president of BYU-Idaho on Tuesday, October 10.

Raymond Steven is a BYU-Idaho student from Sierra Leone. He is also the CEO of the Ray Foundation, an organization which he founded to provide education for people in his hometown. Steven provides an update on his continued humanitarian efforts.

BYU-Idaho’s inauguration event for Alvin F. Meredith III is Tuesday and BYU-Idaho Radio will be there to capture the festivities.

Gina Miller is the Children and Teens Programming librarian for the Madison Library District. She is in charge of scheduling and creating events for kids and teenagers in the Madison Library District. She highlights several fun events coming to the library in October.

Primrose Kambamura is a BYU-Idaho student from Bulawayo. She is a second-year communications student. She is also a convert to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her journey to the Church began halfway across the world in Zimbabwe.
